  1. REMOVED DEBRIS FROM THE ENGINE, AUGER AND AUGER HOUSING
  2. DISCONNECTED THE SPARK PLUG AND EXAMINED THE AUGER BLADE FOR CRACKING AND WEAR.
  3. INSPECTED SKID SHOES FOR DAMAGE OR WEAR
  4. CHECKED EXPOSED WIRING AND CABLES FOR CRACKS AND WORN SPOTS
  5. CHECKED FUEL LINES AND PRIMER BULB FOR BRITTLENESS, BREAKAGE OR LEAKING
  6. CHECKED, CLEANED OR REPLACED AIR AND FUEL FILTER
  7. INSPECTED AND LUBRICATED DISCHARGE CHUTE
  8. FILLED TANK WITH NON-ETHANOL GASOLINE WITH FUEL STABILIZER
  9. RINSED AUGER BLADE AND HOUSING WITH CLEAN WATER (TO REMOVE SALT OR CORROSIVE ICE MELT
  10. STORED THE UNIT SAFELY
